Look for words that you have seen your opponents use in previous rounds. Keep a record of them, either mentally or on a piece of paper. These can give you a jump start when the game begins.
Check your words, especially the long ones, to see if you̵7;ve reused any letters. This will help you to avoid losing points from your score later on.
Look for other forms of a word that you̵7;ve found on the board. For instance, look for plural, future or past tense forms.
Stop worrying about the timer. It̵7;s fine to be cognizant of it, but continually checking it makes you lose valuable time. Use every last second you can to look for words.
