Bratz Passion for Fashion Game Instructions

Set Up

• To begin, place the cardboard girls into the plastic bases. Remove the number and color decals from their sheet and place them on the dice. Numbers go on the first die, colors on the second. For realistic dice, place numbers that add to seven opposite one another. For example, 3 should be opposite 4 and 1 opposite 6. Slide the revolving closets into the game board. There should be one for each player. Each player should choose a Bratz girl--Cloe, Sasha, Jade or Yasmin--and move her to the player's choice of closet. Players should then take the fashion board for their character and place it in front of them. Finally, turn over all of the fashion tokens and scramble them. Place these on the closet spaces on the board.

Game Play

• You can roll a die to see who goes first, or go in order of age. Play proceeds to the left from the first player. Roll the number die and move that number of spaces. You can move in any direction, but only one direction per turn. You can move across the Salon space to reach other parts of the board. Landing on the Salon space lets you take any of your tokens that are there. If you land on another player, you will mess up her hair, and she will have to go to the Salon to retrieve her hair fashion token. There are four special tokens that have rules instead of fashions on them. Each of these has a special effect on the game, allowing players to take a token from another player or flip over a face-down token to reveal its contents. If you land on a space with no tokens, you can roll the color die to see if you get to take a token from your closet. By rolling a color that matches a token space in your closet, you may take the token. You do not get another roll or token if the rolled color in your closet is empty.

Winning

• The object of the game is to get all four fashion tokens, and then get back to the "Home" space at the closet where your character started. The first player to do so wins the game. You don't have to roll the exact number to land on "Home" as you do at the Salon. You just need enough moves to get you there. Once the game is complete, you and your friends can play again, this time reversing the turn order or allowing a handicap of free tokens to players who fared poorly in the last game.
