Setting Up
Place the large Yahtzee die and the included stand in the center of the game area and switch the power on. Start the game by having one player shuffle the 48 card deck. Each player is dealt five cards that they will keep face up in a pile near them in the game area. Determine who goes first by having each player roll one die with the highest roll having the first turn. The goal of the game is to roll dice to match the numbers on the dice featured on your cards.
Taking Turns
The first player starts his turn my pressing the Big Die which will start the clock. Roll the five dice and check to see if any of them match the dice on your top card. Take any matching dice and place them on your card, continuing to roll the remaining dice. When you have matched every dice to the ones on your card, hit the Big Die again to stop the clock. After stopping the clock the Big Die will tell you if you matched them all in time or were too slow. Either way the Big Die will give you instructions such as discarding the top card or drawing another card. Follow these instructions at which point your turn is over. Continue to play until one player has discarded every card in his hand. At this point, that player presses and holds the Big Die down to end the game.
Card Types
There are six types of cards in Yahtzee Turbo, each one featuring a different amount and sequence of dice to match. "Three of a Kind" and "Four of a Kind" require players to roll three or four dice of the same amount. "Small Straight" and "Large Straight" require the player to roll a sequence of dice such as one, two, three, four or two, three, four, five, six. These numbers can be rolled in any order as long as the sequence is completed. A "Full House" requires that the player roll a "Two of a Kind" and a "Three of a Kind". The final card is a "Chance!" card that is a random collection of numbers. The Big Die may also prompt one player to attempt to roll a Yahtzee, which is five dice with the same number.
