Instructions
Start with two to four players. Have each player choose a game piece, then give each player $6, five roofs, ten green building blocks, and one golden roof.
Press down on Mr. Monopoly's head when it is your turn. Mr. Monopoly will tell you how many spaces to move your game piece. If a player moves an incorrect number of spaces, Mr. Monopoly will point out the error. This mechanism of the game is a great tool for teaching young children how to count.
Place a green building block on a property space after you land on it if it does not already include a building block. If a player lands on another player's property, he has to pay that player. Pay $1 if the player has a green block on the space and $3 if the player has a green block with a red roof. This is another great tool that teaches kids how to count and use money.
Collect $2 each time you pass "go." If you land on "chance," take a chance card, which could ask you to pay money or could give you extra money. Landing on "free parking" also gives you extra money from the bank. Also, this version of the game does not have a "jail" space, unlike the original Monopoly game.
Continue to follow Mr. Monopoly's instructions. The goal is to be the player with the most money at the end of the game. If you run out of money, you lose.
