Check with your state government's Website or local office to find out the fee for applying for a Bingo license. Find out if there are any restrictions or deadlines on when you can apply.
Print out a copy of the application form or get one directly from the government agency in your state that handles Bingo licenses. Check at the office of the Secretary of State, the Justice Department or the Department of Revenue. Check out our Resources section for more information.
Decide which class of Bingo license you need. This will be based on how often you will be running Bingo games, and it will be based one the average amount per year you plan to make by running Bingo. The classifications will vary by state, but generally there will be five tiers of classes that are each meant for increasingly larger organizations and higher amounts of money.
Fill out the application by writing out your organization's name, the type of business it is and your employer identification number. Attach a separate sheet including the names and addresses of everyone employed or involved with your organization.
Mail the application in to your local state office including a check or money order for the amount of the application fee.
Go to your local police office after your application has been approved if it is required by your state. Have your fingerprints taken and checked against their database of criminals. Bring cash or a check as this process generally costs a minimal amount of money.
Wait for the final decision which will be delivered by mail from the city council or other organization in your state that will be reviewing the application.
