  1. How to Make the Game

    • 1

Acquire or find a big square of cardboard, and make sure that it is an even square. This can be as large as you would like the board game to be but remember that you will have to store the game when you aren't using it, so don't make it too big.

    • 2

Cover the cardboard with construction paper in any color. You can use multiple construction paper colors if you would like to.

    • 3

Create a construction paper path along the outside of the board. Use different colors for squares to go around the board; make each square the same size. Use glue to hold the squares in place.

    • 4

Color the rest of the construction paper and cardboard. You can draw pictures of friends, or simply use designs that remind you of friendship.

    • 5

Cut out several squares of construction paper and make them all the same size. On one side of the squares, write a friendship quote. On the other side of the squares, make up a question that has to do with friendship.

    Playing The Game

    • 6

Write the instructions to the game on the game board so they can easily be seen. The instructions should say that each player should roll the dice and then take a card. The other players will ask the question that is on the card, and if he gets it right, he can move the number of squares that correspond to the dice roll. If you write the instructions on the board, anyone who is playing the game will be able to find them.

    • 7

Find small tokens that you can use for the game. These can be in a friendship theme as well, or they can be simply place markers.

    • 8

Leave the game out for kids or adults to play and learn about friendship.
