Stratego on Metaforge
Log onto the Metaforge Stratego website (see Resources below).
Click the large “Play Now” button on the screen. This will load the chat room and game page. It may take some time to load, depending on your Internet connection.
Click the “New Player” link in the small box that appears on the screen. There you will have to enter a user name and email account. A password will be sent to your email address.
Go to your email address and copy the password that is in the message sent to you by Metaforge.
Go back to the Metaforge Stratego website and repeat the process again. This time, enter your user name and password.
Click on the icon of a soldier riding a horse. It will be next to an icon with two “people” inside a circle. This will create a classic Stratego game for you. Once another player joins the game, your game will begin.
Use the tabs under the “Options” heading to tweak your particular Stratego game. You should only do this once you've gotten the hang of the Metaforge website.
Stratego on Browser Chess
Log onto the Browser Chess Stratego website to play a game against a computer opponent (see Resources).
Select the “New Game” tab in the box on the screen.
Choose which type of Stratego game you want to play in the box that will appear on the screen. You can select “Classic Stratego,” “Barrage Stratego,” “One Time Bombs” or “Air Mobile.”
Pick which deployment you want to use for this particular game.
Click the Start tab found below your pieces on the right of the screen, and your game will begin.
