Instructions
Prepare for Qwirkle
Turn all of the tiles upside down on the playing surface.
Draw six tiles for each player.
Find the player with the most tiles sharing one characteristic. That player plays those tiles in a row or column. The number of tiles she plays is the score for that first turn.
Play Qwirkle
Choose a tile or a group of tiles from your own tiles that has a characteristic in common with a tile on the board.
Ensure that none of the tiles you've chosen is exactly the same as one in the line you choose.
Make the play and count points: one for each tile already the line and one for each tile played. If you place the sixth tile in a line, you get a point for each tile in the line, a point for the one added and an additional six points for completing the line for a total of twelve points.
Draw tiles so that you have six in your hand.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for each player until there are no more tiles in the reserve and one player plays the last tile in his hand. This player gets an additional six points.
Add up your points. The player with the most points wins.
