How to Improve a Chess Elo Rating

Chess is a game of strategy between two players. Players move pieces across a checkered board in an effort to capture the opponent's king piece. Pieces have different roles and can only be moved across the board in specific patterns. The Elo rating system was developed by Dr. Arpad Elo and was adopted by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) in 1970. Ratings are determined by wins and losses against other players.
