Walled City
You must travel to the Walled City and navigate a maze to obtain the Sun Stone. At the start of the maze, head right to activate the staff switch and then hurry back to the starting point and follow the available path, going straight ahead instead of turning left. When you reach the wall of flames, douse it with your ice blaster and then activate the switch behind it. Rush back and take the left path this time, moving straight ahead and not turning right. A large pit impedes your path, but use your fire blaster to hit the symbol on the pit's opposite side. Now run back the other way and have your pal Tricky burn the brambles on the right, revealing another switch. Flipping the switch opens the path out of the maze.
Fifth Shrine
At the fifth Krazoa Shrine, you must complete a test of knowledge, placing six items next to the location from which they came. Place the Gold RedEye Tooth in the Walled City spot in the top left corner. The Dinosaur Horn goes on the DarkIce Mines spot at middle left. Move the Asteroid to the Space spot on the bottom left. Place the Moon Seed on the Moon Mountain Pass, top right. The Wooden Block goes with the LightFoot Village at the middle right. Finally, the CloudRunner Flute belongs with the CloudRunner Fortress at the bottom right.
Andross
Fox must defeat his archenemy Andross in the game's final battle. Andross appears as a floating, two-sided head in deep space. Andross begins the fight showing his metallic face with glowing eyes and a forehead gem. Avoid the energy blasts from Andross' mouth and focus your ship's fire on his eyes and forehead gem. Once those targets have been destroyed, Andross turns to face you with his normal monkey-like appearance and two clawed hands. Barrel roll and drive hard to either side of the screen to dodge Andross' attacks and to prevent him from sucking you into his mouth. Focus your shots on the gems in his hands. Andross flips around two more times, but keep up the same pattern and continue to focus on shooting the gems to eventually prevail.
Cheat Tokens
Dinosaur Planet features eight hidden cheat tokens. When you find a token, take it to the WarpStore and warp to the Game Well Maze, which contains a well at its center. Drop a token into the well to activate game cheats, including secret messages and the ability to play the game in black and white. Find the tokens in the main room of the ThornTail Store, the river at the SnowHorn Wastes, the Krazoa Shrine on Moon Mountain Pass, the second SpellStone gate at the Volcano Force Point Temple, the LightFoot Village, the electric panels at Ocean Force Point Temple and the cannon reached through the portal device.
