Fairy Creation

• When creating your fairy, consider the strengths and weaknesses of the five basic fairy types. Tinker fairies, like the famous Tinker Bell, excel at craft projects, capable of fixing and creating just about anything. Water fairies control water in all its forms and can even help create rainbows. Garden fairies plant seeds, help flowers bloom and assist fruit in ripening. Animal fairies communicate with and care for all animals, great and small. Finally, Light fairies can mold and shape light however they like, even storing light for later use. Your chosen fairy type will affect your performance on subsequent tasks.

Outfits

• To view your fairy's outfits and accessories, click the "Items" icon on the DS touch screen. Other fairies often reward you with new clothing and accessories for helping them complete tasks. Use your fairy talents to customize the items, adjusting things like skirt length and hairstyles to reflect your fairy's personality.

Collectibles

• Throughout the game, you must collect the necessary seeds to plant the Summer Garden. However, don't neglect gathering other important items like flower petals, leaves, fruits, berries, vegetables and even bits of thread. Trade in these items at the Solstice Shoppe to acquire new clothing and accessories.

Gardening

• Gardening remains the game's most important task. The Summer Garden includes two sections, one for growing the special lilies you find and the other for growing the regular flowers. While valuable, the lilies don't require much attention once planted. Instead, focus on tending the other flowers to keep the garden thriving. Visit the garden often to ensure that the flowers have enough water and sunlight at all times.

Teamwork

• Interact with the game's other fairies whenever possible. Helping them earns you special items and builds the necessary relationships required to make the Summer Garden grow. Each of the other fairies has an important job to do. Tinker Bell plants the seeds, Rosetta's pixie dust helps the seeds grow, Silvermist keeps the flowers watered, Indessa provides the flowers with essential sunlight, Fawn keeps away harmful insects and Vidia protects the flowers from dust and debris. You must work as a team with all these fairies to ensure a healthy garden.
