Oswald
As you near the end of the game, you encounter Oswald, the newspaper reporter who invented the name "The Jigsaw Killer." Before gaining access to Oswald's room, you must solve a picture puzzle. Move the picture pieces around to form an image of Jigsaw riding a tricycle. Once inside the room, you find Oswald strapped to a torture chair. To save him from certain death, you must complete three electrical circuit puzzles in less than four minutes. All the fuses must feed into one another to turn each electrical panel's lights from red to green. The puzzles increase in difficulty as you go. Although solutions vary, focus on the outer edges of the puzzle first, targeting the T-shaped circuits, which can't point off the panels, and then work your way toward the center.
Obi
Before you can save Obi Tate, you must first acquire a valve and a coupler from a room filled with poison gas. Grab the items and race to the circuit box to connect the circuit and open the door. In the next room, find another coupler on the work bench and use it to repair the next fusebox, which in turn opens another door. Break through the wall to the right of the two work benches and go through the bolted door and search the room's lockers for another coupler. Repair another fusebox current and hit the door release button. Next, you have to toss a frozen hand into the furnace to reveal the key that opens the door to the imprisoned Obi. Complete three standard pipe puzzles to win Obi his freedom.
Jeff
Saving Jeff starts with first figuring out the combination to his locked room. Notice the colored TV monitors above the entranceway. Now go up above and shine the stage lights in the same color sequence: green, blue, red. Shining the lights in the correct order reveals the lock combination to be 831. Jigsaw strapped Jeff to a torture wall and forces you to play a matching game to save Jeff's life. Images flash across a wall of TV monitors. You must match the images. For instance, pair the hammer with the nail, the shotgun with the shotgun shell and the pill with the pill bottle. Each mistake inches Jeff closer to death. Write down the image locations to limit your failed matches.
Jigsaw's Apprentice
Before reaching the end of the game, you must defeat Jigsaw's Apprentice in a boss battle. The Apprentice, a robed figure with a pig's head, charges at you through a doorway. You have two options. Either shoot him with whatever bullets you have left and then finish him off with punches, or you can lure him into the electricity area in the next room and flip the switch to electrocute him. Afterward, follow Jigsaw's prompts to the final choice between two sets of doors, one set representing freedom and the other promising truth.
