Hunts
Put dry ice in coolers placed around the outdoor hunt area. As the dry ice melts, fog will appear and it will be time for the hunt. Hide Halloween candy all around the area. When you say ̶0;Go,̶1; players must find as many pieces of candy as they can. The player who finds the most wins the hunt and an additional prize. For a spooky game, hide plastic body parts all over the foggy area. Send two players into the fog at a time and have them bring back three specific body parts. The first player to do this wins a prize.
Bobbing Games
Create a few bobbing games for your guests to play in the dry ice fog. For a basic game, place apples in a large tub of water. Have two players stand by the tub and try to grab an apple using only their teeth. The first player to succeed wins the game. For an extra spooky and messy bobbing game, fill a tub with fake blood and cow tongues. Create lots of fog using the dry ice to make it hard for the players to see. The first player to grab a cow tongue using only his teeth wins the game.
Tossing Games
Scatter plastic Halloween pumpkins outside on the ground. Be sure the pumpkins have open tops. Mark a standing line and have the players stand at the line. Indicate a point value on each pumpkin. Give the children plastic bones to try to toss into the pumpkins; make the game more challenging by having dry ice in between all the pumpkins creating fog. Add up each player̵7;s points and the player with the most points wins the game. Alternatively, use candy corn or vampire teeth instead of the bones.
Obstacle Course
Create a spooky obstacle course by placing coolers of dry ice throughout the course to create fog. Players can climb through cardboard boxes, underneath ropes, run in and out of pumpkins, carry pumpkins from one point to another and knock down a pumpkin wall. Time players individually or have them compete in relay teams. The player or team with the fastest time wins the race.
