Missions & Rewards in Need for Speed: Undercover for PS3

"Need for Speed: Undercover" is a racing simulation game for the PlayStation 3. The game lets you outrun cops in an open-world environment and compete in high-speed races against aggressive opponents. "Need for Speed: Undercover" includes 51 unlockable trophies as rewards for completing certain missions, performing spectacular driving feats or accomplishing career goals.
  1. Trophy Types

    • The game's trophies may be bronze, silver, gold or platinum. Forty-six of the 51 total trophies are bronze, most of which can be earned by performing minor achievements in Career mode. The other five rewards consist of one silver trophy, three gold trophies and one platinum trophy.

    Bronze Missions

    • Some of the 46 bronze trophies require the successful completion of certain missions. For example, completing the Nickel sequence in the Payback mission wins the Nickel and Dimes trophy; finishing the Carmen sequence in the Rematch mission earns the To Protect and Serve trophy; completing the Hector sequence in the Kingpin mission wins the Bowling with Hector trophy; completing the Zack sequence in The Trap Mission wins the Zack Trap trophy; and completing the Double Trouble mission earns the 2 Birds, 1 Stone trophy.

    Bronze Events

    • You can also earn bronze trophies for completing certain events. Dominating the Tri-City Run, Bay Drive & Harbor, East I-5, South Canyon Highway, Pine Creek & Douglas, East Fasulo Bridge, Gold Coast to Ocean and the North River Expressway events earns you a bronze trophy for each victory.

    Bronze Achievements

    • More bronze trophies are available for performing specific in-game feats. Avoiding five road blocks during a pursuit earns the Get Out of the Way trophy. Disabling 10 police cars during a pursuit earns the Path of Destruction trophy. Escaping a helicopter while successfully completing a pursuit earns you the Lose the Eye in the Sky trophy.

    Silver

    • The Notorious Trophy is the only silver trophy in the game. To earn the trophy you must finish 119 multiplayer races. You don't have to win all 119 races but you must finish the races, so don't be discouraged if a few encounters don't go your way. Be persistent and you will earn this trophy.

    Gold

    • You can win three gold trophies for accomplishing certain long-term career goals. Successfully completing 50 pursuits wins the Most Wanted trophy; finishing the Career Story mode earns the Retired trophy; and dominating 100 percent of the Career story mode and beating all existing track records earns the prestigious Completionist trophy.

    Platinum

    • The game's ultimate reward is the Platinum trophy. To win the Platinum trophy you have to collect the other 50 trophies. Earning the Platinum trophy shows everyone that you've achieved all there is to achieve in the game.
