Cheat Mode
Pressing "F2" accesses cheat mode, allowing you to enter up to eight cheat codes. Type "wwflock" to automatically advance to the nearest flock. Typing "wwcovey" advances to the nearest covey of upland birds. Entering "wwcallin" advances to the nearest animal. The cheat code "wwgobler" advances you to the nearest turkey. Typing "wwflash" causes lightning. Entering "wwnofear" prevents the birds from being afraid of you, and if you'd like to hunt with a machine gun, type the code "add avenger."
Non-Game Animals
Aside from an extensive array of birds, the game includes some non-game animals like rabbits, squirrels and whitetail deer. Attentive hunters will also notice butterflies, dragonflies, bees, turtles, trout and even the legendary Bigfoot. But of all the other animals, only the deer can be shot and killed.
Upland Hunts
In upland hunts, you take to the woods with your trusty dog and try to flush birds from the surrounding bushes and vegetation. Listen carefully for ticking sounds, because they'll indicate when birds like pheasant, quail and prairie chicken are about to take to the sky. If you miss a flushed bird with your initial shot, try to track where it lands, because you might be able to get another shot at it while it's on the ground.
Waterfowl
When hunting ducks and geese, take any beeping or bell collars off your dog, as the noise may startle incoming birds. Calling and decoying works best to attract waterfowl. Mixing your decoy spreads will prove highly effective. Using binoculars also makes it easier to spot specific types of birds, letting you make fewer mistakes when hunting particular game.
Turkey
Probably the most difficult birds to hunt, turkey are clever and somewhat hard to find. Calling and decoying works best. Use a ground blind when calling to stay out of sight, and be careful not to call too often and spook the turkey. Hunting with a bow instead of a shotgun will also limit noise, letting you get closer for an easier shot. When tracking turkey, look for scratch marks on the ground and keep your ears open for gobble sounds.
