Blitzkrieg Game Cheats

A real-time military strategy game for the PC, "Blitzkrieg" allows you to play as a commanding officer during World War II. The game divides the war into three campaigns, one each for the Allies, Germans and Russians. Knowing a few cheats and tips can give you a distinct advantage on the battlefield.

Cheat Mode
- Pressing either "~" or "^" at any point during gameplay brings up the console window. Type "@Password( "Panzerklein" )" to enter cheat mode. Make sure to place a space after the first parenthesis and another space before the second parenthesis. Don't use a space between @Password and the first parenthesis.
Cheat Codes
- Once you've entered cheat mode, typing "SetIGlobalVar( "Cheat.Enable.Chapters", 1 )" activates "Level Select." The code "@God( 0, 1 )" activates "God Mode." Entering the code "@Win( 0 )" triggers "Level Skip." Inserting the code "@ChangePlayer( [number],0 )" with an actual numeral in place of "[number]" will eliminate that many enemy units. The code "@God( 0,2 )" enters "God Mode" with one-hit kills. The code "@LandReinforcement( [number] )" spawns that many reinforcements. Entering "@ChangeWarFog( 1 )" allows you to see enemy units, while "@ChangeWarFog( 0 )" lets you see your units. The code "@SwitchWeather( 1 )" creates bad weather, while "@SwitchWeather( 0 )" produces clear weather. To unlock aviation for the enemy, enter the code "@EnableAviation( 1,-1 )." To unlock your own aviation, enter "@EnableAviation( 0,-1 )."
Quick Select
- Quick, forceful use of artillery can halt an enemy attack. Select the cannons you want to use and then hold the left "Ctrl" key and press the number desired. Now, the next time you press that specific number, the artillery will pop up automatically without having to go through the full selection process. You can use this same technique for other units, too.
Berlin
- For the battle in Berlin, comprise your forces with at least four JS-3 tanks, four IS-2 tanks, four T-34-85mm tanks and four tank destroyers. The Germans will be entrenched in a position of power, so don't attack the middle of their lines. Instead, lead your column of tanks to the far left through the woods. Your tanks will make short work of the infantry stationed there, allowing you to penetrate deep into the German lines and eliminate the Hummel battery position.
Poland
- When fighting in Poland, you'll find yourself outgunned. The enemy will have the clear advantage in artillery, with 170mm cannon batteries positioned throughout the countryside. Opt for ML 152mm cannons, which can't match the enemy's power but can provide an edge in rate of fire and distance. Also, send paratroopers to the northwest to eliminate artillery positions and soften the enemy lines.
