Streets of Sighundia
At the start of the game, you leave your apartment and walk outside into the Sighundia streets, in which you'll encounter some enemies who carry guns and some other enemies who wield swords. Use your gun to shoot the gun-toting foes, who flee at the sight of your axe, and use your axe on the swordsmen, who wear armor that can stop your bullets.
Leveling Up
Throughout the game, you defeat enemies and accomplish tasks to earn experience points, which you can then use to level up your character's various abilities. When deciding what to level up, always go for "Accuracy" first, because it will provide the most benefit during battle. Next, opt for "Axe Power" and "Life Energy," two other valuable resources.
Boss Fights
Don't expect to beat bosses with standard gun techniques. To take out a boss, you'll need to come equipped with a full astral energy bar, three aura potions and at least five other potions in your supply pack. Then, when preparing to face the boss, use a "Super Fighting" potion, a "Super Fury" potion and a "Super Iron Skin" potion. If fighting an infernal priest, use your "Ice Axe." Against golems, use your "Lightning Axe." Either axe will defeat zombie bosses.
Rings and Amulets
Wearing rings and amulets can provide your character with enhanced abilities, but you want to focus on offensive, attacking abilities as opposed to defensive improvements. Armor alone provides adequate protection. Instead, choose rings and amulets that improve accuracy, allowing you to snipe enemies from a distance. If you're about to engage in an axe fight, switch the ring to one that grants extra axe power.
Weapons Guide
Don't bother with pistols once you have access to better weapons. Assault rifles perform better than machine guns, which aren't very accurate and waste bullets. Hyper rifles are the best close-combat weapons available, although they require special heavy bullets. A sniper rifle can kill enemies from a safe distance, while the disruptor rifle, which also requires heavy bullets, causes the most damage and can eliminate large groups of foes. For best results, use only hyper rifles, sniper rifles and disruptors.
Aurum Keys
The game hides the seven Aurum Keys in four different cities. In Sighundia, you can find Aurum Keys in "Disabel's Hideout," "Second Jimmy Gusto's Quest," "First G.A.S. Quest" and "Second Secret Outpost Service Quest." You'll find one Aurum Key each in the cities of Stalgra, Demiurgod and Konquer.
