Plug the flash drive into the USB port on the Xbox 360 and follow the instructions on the screen to format the flash drive to the Xbox mode. Save the game you wish to modify on the flash drive.
Disconnect the flash drive from the Xbox 360 and plug it into a USB port on your computer. The computer will open a small window. Click on the ̶0;X̵7; button to close the window.
Open the RAR extraction program and click on ̶0;Open̶1; in the ̶0;File̶1; drop-down menu. Locate the files on the flash drive and extract the GPD files. Choose a convenient place on your computer to extract the files, such as "My Documents" or the desktop. There are some free RAR extraction programs, such as Winrar or RAR Extract Frog.
Open the Modio program from the desktop icon or the programs list and drag the extracted file into the Modio window.
Click on the "Contents" tab.
Replace the game file with the same name as the game modification file with the same name. Game modification files, or "modded GPDs," can be downloaded from the Internet. Click on the ̶0;General̶1; tab and select ̶0;Rehash and Resign̶1; in Modio.
Open the RAR extraction program and replace the existing files with the files modified in Modio. Save the files to the flash drive.
Unplug the Internet or Wi-Fi from the Xbox 360 and plug the flash drive back in.
Sign in to the game you edited and load the game from the flash drive. Reconnect the Internet or Wi-Fi. The Xbox will offer an update. Decline the update to keep the modded files.
