Doodle God Tips

Released by Avalon Alliance, "Doodle God" is a Flash-based puzzle game for computers and mobile devices. You start with the four basic elements of Air, Earth, Fire and Water, then combine them to create new elements. You then combine each new creation and arrange them to form other new elements, although the game uses the term "elements" to mean all variety of substances. While logical combinations tend to reap rewards, the process of trial-and-error can prove frustrating; however, a few tips can save you time and help you along your way to discovering all of the game's 115 elements.
  1. Generation 1

    • At the start of the game, you only have the four basic elements with which to work. Combine Earth and Fire to make Lava; add Fire to Water to make Alcohol; add Water to Earth to produce Swamp; mix Air and Earth to get Dust; combine Air and Water to make Steam; and combine Air and Fire to get Energy.

    Generation 2

    • Once you've created your first batch of elements, start making new concoctions to produce a second generation. Combining Water and Alcohol yields Vodka; mixing Water with Lava produces Stone and Steam; Fire plus Dust creates Ash; Air combines with Energy to make Storm; and Energy combined with Swamp equals Life.

    Generation 3

    • Progressing to the third generation of elements allows you to combine Life with Stone to produce Egg; pair Water and Life to make Weeds; add Swamp to Life to create Bacteria; combine Air and Stone to make Sand; use Fire with Stone to forge Metal; and combine Life with Ash to create Ghost, your first Mythical element.

    Generation 4

    • With three full generations of elements at your disposal, your combinations can get even more involved. Using Energy and Metal together yields Electricity; combining Life and Sand creates Seeds; Air plus Egg makes a Bird, your first Animal element; combining Earth and Egg creates a Dinosaur; mixing Sand with Egg makes a Turtle; combining Earth with Weed creates a Mushroom; and Fire plus Sand equals Glass. To make your first Technology element, combine Metal and Steam to get a Boiler.

    Generation 5

    • You'll continue to expand your element types in the fifth generation. Combining Earth and Moss makes Grass, your first Plants element. Using Fire and Clay together produces Brick, your first element in the Civilization group. Other combinations include pairing Dinosaur plus Fire to get a Dragon, pairing Air plus Worm to get a Butterfly, pairing Life plus Clay to produce a Golem and pairing Fire plus Bird to create a Phoenix.
