Instructions
Find the right place to hang the cabinet. Make sure there is at least 10 feet of space from the wall using a tape measure. The actual throwing line is placed 7 feet, 9.25 inches from the dart board. Having extra room ensures there is enough space for the thrower to comfortably stand behind the throwing line while playing.
Tap the wall and listen for a less hollow sound to check for a stud. Measure 5 feet, 8 inches from the ground and make a small mark on the wall with a pencil. Do this using the pencil, after measuring with the tape measure.
Open the cabinet and remove the dartboard. Center the cabinet on the wall so that the dartboard's bulls-eye is directly over the pencil marking. Using the drill, screw one of the screws through the center left part of the cabinet where the dartboard will be hung. Once the dartboard is in place, the mounting screws will not be visible. There should be resistance when applying pressure with the drill to the screw. If there is not resistance, stop and make sure there is a wall stud in the space where the cabinet is being hung.
Hold the cabinet in place and close the doors. Place the level on top of the cabinet. Slowly swing the cabinet, on its tilt, until the bubble in the level shows that the cabinet is straight.
Drill the second mounting screw into the right center part of the back of the cabinet where the dartboard will eventually be installed. This screw should be fastened into the same wall stud as the initial screw. Let go of the cabinet
Hang the dartboard back inside the cabinet. Place all dart accessories, such as chalkboards, darts and eraser, in the cabinet.
