Achievements
Completing certain tasks in the Xbox 360 version of the game can unlock 31 special achievements, with each achievement rewarding you with between 20 and 80 gamerscore points. For example, if you kill multiple enemies with a single attack on 28 different occasions, you earn the Slayer award and 20 points. Killing 58 enemies with your bare hands wins the Brass Knuckles award and 30 points. Finding all the Legendary Weapons earns the Legendary Collector achievement and 50 points. Performing the Grendel Song to perfection claims the Perfect Song award and 60 points. Complete the entire game on Legend Difficulty and you'll win 80 points, the highest reward in the game. You can earn the same trophies in the game's other versions, but only the Xbox 360 uses the gamerscore points system.
Legendary Weapons
You can find four Legendary Weapons throughout the game. The tunnel complex in Episode 4 holds the Legendary Sword. In Episode 6, turn the gate wheel to release the gate and reveal the Legendary Shield. You have to climb a cliff wall during Episode 11 to find the Legendary Spear. Finally, the Legendary Axe rests atop a rock mountain in Episode 12.
Shadow Weapons
You can also discover four powerful Shadow Weapons. In Episode 7, check the edge of the entrance platform before the bridges to find the Shadow Spear. You need to defeat the Shadow Thanes in Episode 8 to steal the Shadow Sword. The Shadow Shield sits over the edge of the center platform on the way to the Wolf in Episode 9. Finally, you can find the Shadow Hammer inside a wall of the ice bridge in Episode 13.
Steal Weapons
A flashing icon appears in the upper right corner of the screen when your weapon starts to fail. Before your weapon breaks, swipe an enemy's weapon by grabbing him and then repeatedly pressing the "X" button. Use the stolen weapon for a while and then go back and pick up your old weapon, which will now have all its life replenished.
Final Battle
If you reach the final battle with the Dragon in Episode 16 as a Hero-King, you won't have access to Carnal Fury, placing you at a disadvantage. To defeat the Dragon, stand in the center of the fighting area and dodge and combo when it breathes fire and charges at you. Next, the Dragon will jump to the center piece above your head and try to stomp you three times. Again, dodge and combo. The Dragon then will jump in the air and attempt to stomp with both feet. Simply roll off the center island to avoid getting squashed. Repeat the same pattern over and over until you drain the Dragon's hit points and trigger a cinematic final cut scene.
