Envision the model you want to create with the Magnetix kit. The easiest shapes to create with Magnetix are triangles and squares; if you can picture the model as being made from primarily these shapes, you will have an easier time constructing the model. You can sketch out your model on paper to give yourself a visual guide.
Connect two steel ball bearings to both ends of one long magnetic rod. Connect a magnetic rod to both steel balls. Connect the two magnetic rods with another steel ball to create a triangle. This triangle can form the torso of a female model.
Create a square or rectangle using four magnetic rods, either of equal size or using two longer and two shorter magnetic rods, connected by four steel ball bearings. The square or rectangle can become the torso of a male model.
Create a small square using four short magnetic rods joined together. Place this square on top of the triangle or square forming the torso to create the model's head.
Form your model's arms and legs using the magnetic rods; you can connect two rods to a ball bearing to create articulating joints for the arms and legs. You can move the arms and legs in different positions to make your model look like it is dancing or walking.
