Things You'll Need
Instructions
Secure a golf venue for the event. Determine how many players will fit on the course at one time so you know how many players to sign up.
Get the word out about your scramble. Take an ad out in the paper, put up fliers at local athletic and golf stores, and post signs at the golf course where the event will be held. Include information on the ads and fliers about how interested parties can sign up.
Register players for the scramble. Each player needs to sign up with a team, with four players on each team. Set an entry fee and collect the money as each team signs up.
Start your scramble early in the morning, as it can take a while for all teams to complete the course. Many scrambles begin as early as 7 a.m.
Instruct each player on every team to play all holes, but have teams record only the best score from each hole. At the end of the course, the teams create their overall scores by tallying only the best individual scores.
