How to Tap the Screen in Angry Birds

If the idea of using a slingshot to hurl angry birds towards structures shielding green pigs sounds like something you̵7;d enjoy, you̵7;ll probably enjoy ̶0;Angry Birds.̶1; Rovio̵7;s ̶0;Angry Birds̶1; is a physics-based game for devices with touch-sensitive displays, such as mobile phones and tablet computers. The birds are mad at their enemies the pigs, and you help them by launching the birds at the pigs̵7; buildings to knock them down and kill them. Tap the screen in "Angry Birds" to control how the birds fly and to pause and resume gameplay.

Instructions

  Launch "Angry Birds" on your touch-screen device.

  Tap the word ̶0;Play̶1; on the opening screen with your finger. A list of numbered game levels appears.

  Tap a level to start playing it.

  Touch the first angry bird loaded in the slingshot, then drag your finger to the left to pull back the slingshot. Move your finger up and down to decrease or increase the trajectory of your shot. Release your finger to launch the angry bird toward the target of pigs.

  Tap anywhere on the screen while the angry bird is in flight to activate that bird̵7;s special power. For example, tap the yellow bird to make it speed up and have more destructive power; tap the blue bird to make it split into three small birds, enabling you to spread out your attack against a structure or several pigs simultaneously; wait until the white bird is just above a target and then tap the screen to make it drop a deadly egg bomb. Tap the black bird when it is touching a structure to blow it up as a bomb.

  Tap the ̶0;Pause̶1; button to take a break. Tap the ̶0;Play̶1; button when you want to resume playing.
