How to Make Kool-Aid Games

If you're putting together a kid's birthday party, you'll need a game or activity to keep the little ones entertained while you set out food or clean up wrapping paper. A Kool-Aid game using various flavors of the drink is ideal for kids, especially if the birthday girl or boy has a particular love for the fruity drink. Using a few pitchers and some different flavor packets of Kool-Aid, you can whip up an inexpensive and entertaining game for your party guests.

  • 10 clear plastic pitchers
  • 5 Kool-Aid packets
  • Hot water

Instructions

    • 1

Set five clear, plastic pitchers out on a table where the kids will play the game. Pour the contents of one Kool-Aid packet into each pitcher.

    • 2

Place a wooden spoon in each pitcher and lay a stack of small paper cups next to each pitcher so players can sample each drink.

    • 3

Fill five other pitchers with hot water and place one behind each of the pitchers containing the Kool-Aid packet.

    • 4

Give each player a sheet of paper and a pencil. Let the players watch as you fill each Kool-Aid pitcher with the hot water, so they can watch as the colors form in each pitcher. Stir each pitcher of Kool-Aid with the wooden spoon.

    • 5

Let players pour themselves a sample of each drink and instruct them to write down their guesses of what flavor they are drinking.

    • 6

Give out a prize like a candy bar to the player that correctly guesses the most flavors.
