Orochi Hellbeast
A giant demonic monster, the Orochi Hellbeast possesses razor-sharp claws, wicked goat horns and skin that looks like molten rock. The Hellbeast attacks with punches and claw strikes, but it will also breath fire to inflict major damage. When in trouble, the Hellbeast will even set itself on fire to burn nearby enemies and to gain some recovery time.
Defeating Hellbeast
Defeating the Orochi Hellbeast requires skill and strategy. When you first encounter the Hellbeast in the Soul Tombs, a number of Tarkata, or evil blade-swinging minions, will appear and join the battle. Concentrate on eliminating the Tarkata first, since they can cause quite the nuisance. The Hellbeast will also eat the Tarkata to regain lost health, so it's best to get them out of the way. With the Tarkata beaten, concentrate on the Hellbeast. Be sure to avoid the Hellbeast's fire and use long-range projectile attacks and aerial assaults. Thankfully, the Hellbeast plods about without much variety to its attacks, so you should be able to pick it apart until it loses all its health.
Brutality
If you have a full level 3 fatality meter, you can speed up the entire process by hitting one of the Tarkata with a Fatality Stunner and then performing a Brutality. Once in Brutality mode, step up your attacks on the Hellbeast, and you'll cause enormous amounts of damage, shortening the entire fight.
Red Coins
Throughout the game, you can find and collect hidden red coins. These coins have tremendous value, because you can use them to unlock characters, multiplayer levels, concept art and even fatalities. After defeating the Orochi Hellbeast, you can uncover a red coin hidden in the very same room. Jump on the pillar to the right and stand facing the center of the room for five seconds. The pillar will crumble and reveal the hidden red coin.
