Different Bosses in MapleStory

A 2-D role-playing video game, MapleStory features the citizens of Maple World banding together to try and prevent the nefarious Black Mage from conquering the kingdom. Players may interact with others online, forming parties to wander the countryside and fight villainous monsters. A different evil boss governs each area of Maple World. Defeating bosses earns players higher rewards than beating normal monsters.
  1. Mano

    • The boss for Lith Harbor, Mano is a grandfatherly snail who lacks a magic attack, but he can cast a "slow" skill that reduces the speed of opposing players. Once defeated, Mano drops a rainbow shell that players can use to turn into a red snail. The rainbow shell plays a critical role in completing a quest elsewhere in Maple World.

    Stumpy

    • An angry tree stump, Stumpy acts as the boss of Perion. He lacks a magic attack but can shoot a bat-shaped projectile for a distance attack. Stumpy also possesses healing powers, defensive skills and the ability to give stat bonuses to fellow stumps. Defeating Stumpy forces him to drop seedlings, firewood, axes and ancient tree sap.

    King Clang

    • The Florina Beach boss, King Clang is a vicious shell crab who slams his claws into the ground during fights to inflict damage. If not defeated quickly, King Clang will summon Clangs and Lorangs to join in the battle. When beaten, King Clang drops various potions and claws.

    Tae Roon

    • Tae Roon rules the Mu Lung area. He launches two magic attacks, a long-range blue energy blast and a ground smash that delivers super-knockback to all nearby players. And being a bear, Tae Roon can power up and summon fellow bears into battle. Defeating Tae Roon can earn red belts, yellow belts, bear feet and leather.

    Eliza

    • The boss for the Orbis territory, Eliza is a lion-like creature who can cast Darkness spells and launch magic attacks over multiple points across the terrain. Eliza can also summon Lucidas and junior Lucidas to protect her during battle. The Lucida mobs create quite an annoyance but aren't too challenging to defeat. However, beating Eliza can earn Lucida tails, solid horns and leathers.

    Snowman

    • Snowman serves as the boss of El Nath and can release cold fog that causes 500 damage points every second a player stands within its cloud. Snowman can also fire a ball of ice for a long-range attack and summon junior Yetis to help him in combat. Once per fight, Snowman can use a stun skill to stun all surrounding players. Defeating Snowman gets him to drop red bean porridge, white pang tails, Yeti horns, junior Yeti skins and a rare Yeti keychain.
