Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut the cardboard into a rectangle for your game board. The size of the board will depend on the size of your audience. If you are playing for leisure at home with just a few players, cut the board 4 feet wide by 3 feet high.
Mark the cardboard into six equal columns with six rectangles of equal size in each.
Write category topics in the sections on the top row, with one topic per section. Sample categories include math functions, periods in history and music trivia.
Write an "answer" in each rectangle that relates to its corresponding category. You can search for facts online or create questions derived from information found in nonfiction books or textbooks.
Write out the "questions" that correspond with the "answers" on index cards and give them to the host. If a contestant provides the correct "question," he will score points.
Cover each of the "answer" rectangles with a thick piece of paper (you can use sticky notes if your board is small enough) and write the "point" or "dollar" value for the "answer" on it. Traditionally, the easier questions are valued at "$100" and run along the top of the board. The hardest question in a category is "$500." Remove the covers when a contestant chooses a category and difficulty so the host can read the "answer" out loud.
