Earn More Coins and Gems
Coins are earned by playing the game and serving baked goods in your bakery. Coins are then spent to upgrade items in your kitchen that will help you serve customers quicker and keep them happier. Gems, which are harder to acquire than coins, earn you special items that can't be purchased with coins and are only available for a limited time. Earn more of each by choosing one baked good and cooking it over and over. You gain more experience with an item the more you cook in the form of chef points. Chef points earn you a higher ranking as a chef, earning you more coins and rewards. The rewards you earn as an experienced chef are usually gems or specialty items for your bakery.
Earn More Tips
Bakery Story is a game where it really does pay to know people. Gain friends and message others as you play the game. Friends will send you special gifts, such as money or baked items to sell in your bakery. Friends will also leave larger tips when they purchase food or receive great customer service from your bakery. The more friends you have, the more friends will want to visit your store, therefore earning you more money and tips from your baked goods. You can also use your coins to buy more tables for your bakery, allowing more customers to eat and earning you more tips.
Finish Food Instantly
Foods take time to bake--sometimes a few minutes and sometimes several hours. It also takes time for customers to sit down, pick out an item from the menu and then of course, eat. To instantly finish the progress of food being cooked or food being eaten by customers sign-out or exit the game. Re-open Bakery Story, log back in and the foods will be instantly finished.
Keep Customers Away Temporarily
When customers visit your bakery they can rate their visit, either good or bad, with stars. Keep your rating high by temporarily closing your store when you are out of food for customers or your ovens are full. Move the cash register, or large object, in front of the bakery entrance. This will block the door and allow you to finish what you are doing before you let customers back inside.
