Gear Alley Redux
In this part of the game you must travel to the bottom of the living quarters structure, which is a blue building. Jump onto the platform to the right of the lever on the gear. The left platform will rise. Move to the left platform and then jump to the higher platforms to reach the entrance to the quarters. Change the steam of the steam battery to "-3" to drop it from a level of ten to a level of seven. The door to open and you can enter.
Living Quarters
Once you're in the living quarters you'll need to click on the blue lever on the left side. This will make the platform rise and you can jump on it to move higher.Then you can jump on the blue button, which will make a ladder rise. Jump onto the ladder quickly before it disappears. When you climb up enough and reach the top, you'll see a door that leads to Zack's room.
Zack's Room
After arriving in Zack's room move the top-left corner; then click on the wall, which will reveal a puzzle. This puzzle is timed and you'll need to get steam to move safely from one corner to another. To get steam you have to click on a number of squares, which will show pipes underneath them. Then, move the steam pipes around to create a clear path. When you are done, go outside, walk across the vine and go all the way to the left. Here you'll find what is called the mech, crank which you'll need to repair a mech in Sully's Garage. Jump down to the street to get to the garage.
Sully's Garage
Use your mech crank and the steam motor in your backpac to repair the mech. Then you can walk around inside the mech unit. Walk out and head left from the garage. You'll find a doorway that is covered in vines. You need to attach the weed whacker from you backpack to the mech and smash all the vines to get to the door so you can go through it. Hit the space bar to destroy all the vines.
