What Are Snag Bars?

Background

• Snag Bar is a free toolbar that works with particular social network games. The toolbar appears at the top of your Internet browser once you download the application. With a click of your mouse, the application will review your games for friend requests, gifts and bonuses. In addition, the Gamers Unite Snag Bar is an alternative to Zynga's officially approved toolbar for the "Farmville" and "Frontierville" Game Bar that also comes with a bonus collection feature.

Browsers

• The Snag Bar works with particular Internet browsers. Gamers who desire to download the Snag Bar must use Internet Explorer or Firefox. Additionally, Gamers Unite is working on a version to work with Chrome, but does not have a release date as of July 2011.

Games for the Snag Bar

• Gamers Unites not only works with "Farmville" and "Frontierville", but also the application works with "Café World" and "Cityville." Additionally, the Snag Bar can retrieve data and bonuses from all four games simultaneously.

Tools

• The Snag Bar has a "1-Click Tool" to assist gamers in sending and receiving gifts. Rather than clicking the "accept" button one at a time, you can hit one button that accepts all of your listed gifts. In addition, the Snag Bar allows you the chance to send your most active friends gifts in groups of 10. You can also review your friends that play the game the most.

Preference

• Snag Bar allows you to customize your preferences. For example, the preferences area allows you to select which game you want to snag or snag all four games at the same time. If you only want to collect a particular item such as the Rhode Island Egg, White Egg or Candy Cane Egg, you can simply check the particular egg in the preference area and the Snag Bar will gather your selections. Additionally, you can choose to collect a particular amount of items. It will stop gathering items once it reaches your selected limit.
