Instructions
Check the Jenga blocks for cracks or broken edges. Discard the damaged blocks.
Lay four Jenga blocks in a flat square on a level surface.
Lay one Jenga block on top of one of the ones in the square. Line up the end of the upper Jenga block with the corner of the square, leaving a gap between the end of the block and opposite side of the square.
Place the end of another Jenga block in the gap left by the other one. Line up the end of this block with the corner of the square. This will leave a gap at the end, just like the first one did.
Place another Jenga block in the new gap, lining it up as you did before. This one will leave enough room for one more Jenga block. Put it in the space.
Repeat the steps until the tower is as high as you want it, alternating where you start each layer. The outside of the square will resemble a brick pattern.
Line up two blocks, end-to-end to start a building. Place a third block on top of those blocks so it sits in the middle. Lay two more blocks on the surface, lying end-to-end.Rotate them 90-degrees. Push that line against the first line to make a "L." Add two more blocks until you make a square. Arrange the blocks in layers like you did for the tower. For a building, leave gaps by leaving a block out of a layer for windows. Leave two blocks out (in the same spot) of a layer to make a door. Continue adding layers until the building is complete.
