Instructions
Create rules for the league. Establish who can join the league and the entry requirements. Determine an entry fee that must be paid to be part of the league and whether prizes will be awarded to game winners. Create a computer spreadsheet to track league members and the dates fees are paid.
Select locations where your dart league will compete. Visit local bars and other venues and meet with owners and managers. Explain how your dart league will operate. Ask for permission to use the location and to advertise the establishment as a league location. Select multiple locations to attract more players.
Create a league schedule. Finalize the schedule with the managers of the venues you've selected; the managers will need to confirm that the dates are available. Schedule your competitions on weekends to maximize league participation.
Create flyers for your league. On the flyer, list when and where league events will be held, how to join, entry fees and a contact for additional information. Post flyers at the businesses where tournaments will be held. Take out an advertisement in your local newspaper highlighting the same information.
