How to Change the Color of Farkle Dice

Add some color to your family game night by playing Farkle with colored dice. Usually played with white or wooden dice, this age-old game originated in Iceland and has been around since the 14th century. The object of the game is to be the first player score above 10,000 points. It is appropriate for children to play or it can be played as a drinking game with a group of adults.

Things You'll Need

  • Colorful permanent markers
  • Six dice
  • Paper plate

Instructions

    • 1

      Grasp one dice at a time firmly between your pointer finger and thumb.

      Color the dice using a permanent marker. Continue grasping the dice with your finger tips. Rotate the dice slowly while continuing to color all the surfaces. Avoid placing any marker color directly onto the dots.

      Repeat steps one and two until all six dice have been covered with the marker.

      Place the dice onto a paper plate. Allow the dice to dry for approximately 1 to 2 hours.
