Health
Moshi Monsters need to be healthy to play. As bugs hit the Moshi Monster, the monster pet loses some of its energy or life. Depending upon the type of bug that hits the Moshi Monster, determines how much energy or life it loses. Large masses of butterflies and beetles will cost the Moshi Monster to lose double its energy, as opposed to getting hit by a single butterfly or a different type of bug all together. Keeping the Moshi Monster happy and fed will also improve its health.
Friends
Since Moshi Monster is a social networking game, it's important to have lots of friends. Once a player has a friend, he can visit him. Once at the friend's, the player can click on the friend's "friend tree" to add more friends to play with. A player can do this by visiting any friend. Just visit a friend or neighbor, click on their friend tree and add as many friends as possible. Friends can help collect, gather and complete quests. Without plenty of friends, game play is much harder and it will take much longer to complete quests.
Growing Plants
Grow as many plants as possible to increase rox. To make plants grow faster, purchase plant seeds from the flower cart and plant them in the garden. Logging out of the game for 20 to 30 minutes will help the plants grow faster than if a player were to play the game; the reason for expedited plant growth is not yet known. The more plants that are grown, the more it increases the odds of getting rox to use for later game play.
Leveling Up
To level up to the next level quickly, play Moshi Monsters on a daily basis. Players who play regularly can grow plants regularly, complete missions faster and level up quicker. Players are also encouraged to do the daily challenges to gain extra experience points to level up quickly and earn special rewards that can help game play.
