Ragdoll Clown
"Ragdoll Clown" is a clown game that symbolizes the scripture verse Philippians 4:13, which states, "I can do anything through Christ who gives me strength." As you control your clown character and collect stars while traveling through 20 dungeons, remember that the wise men followed the star to find the baby Jesus in the manger. During the game, as in real life, players strive for achievements and jump to avoid obstacles to receive bonuses. Life challenges believers to achieve, but when believers are strong in Christ, bonuses in life add up. The game is for all ages.
Face Painting Hangman
Combine a game of hangman with clown face painting. This game is an entertaining highlight for church lock-ins. Ask for volunteers to help with painting and to write out the hangman word or sentence on a whiteboard or chalkboard. Choose short scripture verses or Bible character names for the Hangman portion of the game, such as "Noah's Ark." When a player chooses an incorrect letter, a volunteer places a mark on the Hangman's noose. When a player chooses a correct letter, he gets one part of his face painted like a clown by the volunteer painter. The player wins if he discloses the word or phrase before choosing enough incorrect letters to "hang" the Hangman.
Clown Bingo
Play bingo using the word "clown" instead of "bingo." Customize bingo cards for your Sunday School class or other Christian group. Instruct players to use bingo daubers, markers or bingo discs to mark the spots when the numbers are called out. Offer Christian prizes for each winner, such as Bible covers, key chains, cross necklaces, gummy fish candy and Christian t-shirts, depending on the age of the players.
Crazy Clown
"Crazy Clown" is a challenging and entertaining board game for the entire family. This game promotes teamwork and strength in numbers. The object of the game is to add a clown to the clown tower without knocking it down. If a player knocks a clown off or knocks the tower down, they are eliminated from the game. Use the game to demonstrate Philippians 2:4, "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." When friends, family and church members pray for each other and stick together, they are like a strong tower; when they do not, they can tumble apart.
