Shaving Practice Games
Young men who have yet to shave can learn how to maneuver razors and shaving gear by playing "shaving practice" games. A few disposable plastic razors, shaving cream and a few balloons can make for hours of fun and valuable training. Just inflate the balloons and cover with a thick layer of shaving cream. Have the children try to shave off the lubricant without poking, slicing and popping the balloon. For added entertainment, play the game in pairs and fill the balloons with water. Have one player seated, with the balloon on his head, while his partner shaves off the lubricant.
Games and Apps
There are numerous shaving games online and even some applications for hand-held PDAs and cell phones. The Crazy Monkey Internet gaming website hosts a humorous shaving game called, "Oh My Head." To play, use your mouse and cursor as an electric clipper to shave the heads of on-screen animated barber shop patrons. You have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to shave the heads of four customers bald without cutting, or causing them to scream or bleed. The "Hairy Legs" game is an Apple application that is available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The object of the game is to quickly shave a cartoon lady's hairy legs, avoiding bruises, blemishes, nicks and cuts by tipping and tilting your devices to guide the razor.
Facial Hair Shaving
Gamers can find many men's facial hair shaving games on Internet game sites, and most are quite simple to play. Arcades 24/7 hosts a simple foreign face shaving game called, "Shave This Guy's Face," in which you use your mouse and cursor as an electric razor to sculpt facial hair designs on a photograph of a fully bearded man. The Most Plays website offers a similar game called, "Face Shaving," that uses the same concept with an animated character. Use the same strategy while listening to holiday music as you trim and sculpt the beard of a cartoon Chris Kringle, playing the "Shave Santa" game on the Booty Arcade website. Shave Santa's full beard, mustache and bushy eye brows to find half-eaten holiday cookies and a secret message.
Celebrity Shaving Games
Pop culture and humor enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of celebrity inspired parodies and shaving games on websites like The Doll Place, Fupa and Games 2 Rule. Martial arts champion and action film legend Chuck Norris, known for his fully bearded face, is featured in the "Shave Chuck Norris" game. To play, use the mouse and cursor to apply shaving cream, shave and wash Chuck's face, then type in your own remarks in the speech bubble protruding from his mouth. Jersey Shore fans might enjoy the "Shave a Star" game which parodies cast member "Snookie" as a game show host. In the game you use your mouse to shave completely hairy figures to reveal celebrities like Jennifer Love Hewitt or Shania Twain. In the "Britney Spears Shaved Head Game," Brittany has already shaved her head for you. Simply use your cursor to drag and drop any of 20 different hairstyles to the pop-star's clean shaven head.
