How to Block a Mafia Wars Player

"Mafia Wars" is a multiplayer game that can be played on the MySpace and Facebook social networking sites. Players work with others to complete missions and collections to turn in for points and mafia money. Even if you don't play these games you may see requests from other players asking for items or to play with them. Instead of deleting a friend over this game, you can block invitations from the game or user.

Instructions

  Click "Games" from the menu bar or column on your social networking site of choice.

  Click the "X" next to the request on the screen. Choose "Block Requests from John Smith" or "Block All Mafia Wars Requests." Confirm the block, and the person or game can no longer send you requests.

  Click the "X" next to the request on your news feed to block the "Mafia Wars" player from filling your news feed with game requests. Choose "Block Notices from John Smith" or "Block Mafia Wars Notifcations" and confirm the request.
