How to Play With a Friend on Farkle

Farkle is a simple dice game that can be played with two or more players. Farkle is traditionally played with six dice, a notepad and a hard surface. It can also be played electronically on smart phones, mp3 players and personal digital assistant devices with gaming applications. Farkle is usually played by individual players, but it's possible to play as duo or team. It will not change how the game is scored.

Press the "Roll Dice" button on an electronic game to roll a random die for each player. Agree upon the number of points you will play to, which is usually 10,000, 7,500 or 5,000. If playing electronically, select "preferences" followed by " maximum score" and the desired point total.

Record your score when you get at least 1,000 points in one throw. Mark any points exceeding 350 on subsequent turns. Give yourself a "farkle" if you fail to score points on your turn. Deduct 1,000 points from your score if you roll a "farkle" on three consecutive turns.

Roll dice and record scores (or press the "roll" button on the electronic game) until one player reaches the maximum score. All players must get one final turn after the first player reaches the agreed upon point total needed to win.
