How to Survive Invisible Gas in Motherload

Invisible gas clouds in the "Motherload" online interactive game can cause instant death if a player is unprepared at deep depth levels within the virtual Martian soil. The object of the game is to mine for the "motherload" of minerals within the ground. Once minerals are collected, they can be traded in for cash to upgrade armor, mining equipment or supplies. Miners must use strategic skills in this addictive game made by XGen Studios Incorporated.

Instructions

- 1
  Upgrade the heat turbines to prepare for traveling below 4000 feet within the game. They will not assist you with the invisible gas clouds, but they will work in conjunction with other upgrades to reflect heat damage.

  Carry dynamite when you travel in depths below 4000 feet. Use the dynamite instead of the drill at the deeper depths when you mine. Once you get down to a specific point, your drill will basically be useless and your dynamite will come in handy. Using dynamite instead of the drill will help reduce gas pocket damage. Target the dynamite carefully. If you do not position it correctly, you will be forced to try to use the drill to retrieve the gems.

  Max out the armor. Even if your other upgrades are not up to maximum, your character could make it out with little health with armor that is up to the maximum capacity, especially if the heat turbines are at the highest upgrade.

  Upgrade the engine and the drill. These upgrades will help you to travel in and out of the gas zone faster.

  Carry extra supplies, such as reserve fuel tanks and armor repair kits that you will need once you are below the surface.
