Adult Games for Two or More Couples

Games aren't just for kids; adults can play them as well. Some games may be played for prizes, and others could be played for fun or bragging rights. Invite a few couples to join you on game night and compete to see who knows the most or which couple knows the most about each other.
  1. Couples Games

    • Find out how well you know your partner by playing couples games. One such game is similar to the television show "The Newlywed Game." Split the couples up and get the men's answers to a variety of questions. Then have the wives try to guess how their spouses answered the questions.

Another version that takes less preparation time is to have one partner leave the room. The other then must answer questions about what she was wearing. Whoever answers the most questions correctly in either variation is the winner.

    Romance Games

    • There are several games in which couples can compete against other couples to show which has the most endurance. For example, have the women apply lipstick before the game starts. Then see who can leave the most lipstick marks on her partner's cheeks in two minutes. Another kissing game is to see which couple can hold a kiss the longest without breaking it.

A third option for romance is to see which couple can dance the longest on a piece of paper. Start with a 10-by-10-foot piece of paper. Fold it in half every two minutes. If a couple steps off the paper or stops dancing, they are eliminated.

    Cooking Contest

    • Invite a group of couples over to compete in a cooking contest. The dishes could all be a theme, such as Italian or French, or a type of dish, such as desserts or appetizers. The couple may cook the dish at home, but they cannot purchase it. Each dish is then labeled with a number. The couples dine together, each sampling all of the dishes made for the game. At the end of the meal, everyone votes for their favorite dishes, without voting for their own. The couple that gets the most votes is the winner.

    Scavenger Hunt

    • Challenge the couples to work together to find as many items as possible on a scavenger hunt list in a limited amount of time. The couples are not permitted to split up during the competition. This scavenger hunt can be in a single location, such as a house or shopping mall, or it could be throughout your city, with the couples completing the list in their cars.

Some suggestions for scavenger hunt lists are objects to photograph around town, collecting menus for different styles of food, or holiday-themed items.
