Indoor Arenas
Indoor arenas have the benefit of being completely climate and light controlled; even on a hot, sunny day players can play indoors. Indoor arenas often have mist or fog created by machines to set the mood. Indoor arenas often have multiple floors with bridges and outposts in order to shoot players below. Many indoor arenas have themes such as jungles, haunted houses, space and more. Most indoor arenas are kid friendly.
Laser Tag Mazes
Adding a maze component to a laser tag game creates a different playing experience. Laser tag mazes are usually indoors. However, unlike basic indoor arenas, this kind is a puzzle. Players enter at one end of the maze, opposite of their opposing team. As they travel through the maze and attempt to find the other team's base, they must also fight off opposing players. Laser tag mazes add an element of problem solving to the game.
Mobile Laser Tag
For birthday parties and special events, mobile laser tag units can be set up. If you have a large, empty indoor space, you can use that, but most people use mobile laser tag outside. Party event suppliers can rent all of the equipment necessary and put it up. The benefit of mobile laser tag is the ability to have laser tag at your party location, without having to buy your own equipment or go to an arena.
Outdoor Laser Tag
Laser tag can be played outdoors in daylight or at night. Often, outdoor laser tag is played in wooded areas, because the trees provide something to hide behind. The difficulty of outdoor laser tag can be increased by adding rough terrain, or playing on steep ground. Players of outdoor laser tag often wear camouflage in order to blend in with their environment. Often, adults prefer outdoor laser tag due to the increased difficulty and fresh air.
