Autograph Bingo Ideas

Authograph bingo isn't just about collecting numbers on a grid, instead you are competing to find information about other players or people in the area. Find out who in your group has the most stamps they have never used or other unique facts. Autograph bingo combines the traditional game of bingo with a scavenger hunt. It can be played at parties or corporate events as an ice breaker activity.
  1. First Day of School

    • Use this game as a way for students to learn about classmates. Have each student supply a fact about herself, such as her favorite food. List these foods on a bingo game board for each student. Students then are given time to socialize and ask each other what their favorite foods are. When the student finds another student with a favorite food remaining on her game board, she asks that student to sign the space on the bingo board. The game can be played until one player gets five squares in a row signed, or her entire board signed to win the game.

    Restaurant Autograph Bingo

    • In restaurant autograph bingo, the goal is for a player to get his entire bingo card signed. On a bingo board for each player, fill in dishes served at specific restaurants in your area. Give the players each a game board and a list of the restaurants. The players then visit these restaurants and have the hostess sign a square that has a dish served by that restaurant. The first player to return to the starting location with his entire board signed is the winner. This game can be played in a mall where all of the restaurants are to eliminate the need to drive from location to location.

    Sports Autograph Bingo

    • Sports autograph seekers have a variety of events in which they can collect autographs of their favorite players. Autograph shows are held where athletes attend and sign autographs, and sometimes sports teams will allow fans to collect autographs from players on the field before a game on a specific date. Add an additional challenge to the autograph hunt by listing each of the players signing autographs on a bingo game board. The first player to return to the starting location with five squares in a row signed is the winner.

    Quirky Facts

    • The quirky facts autograph bingo game requires a very large bingo card. This is because an unusual fact about each player is written on one of the game spaces on each bingo card. The players each supply one fact to the game organizer before the game is played, so the cards can be filled out. Players are then given a specified amount of time to socialize and ask each other to sign the square with the fact about her. The organizer decides if the winner will be the first to get five signatures in a row, or have every box on her board signed. This can be used as an icebreaker game at parties or company events.
