Discworld Noir
This PC game is based on Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series of novels, and takes the form of a parody of the film noir genre of movies. The player assumes the role of a private eye, Lewton, and must explore 3-D urban environments, finding clues and talking to characters to amass info. In an interesting twist, the player gains the ability to transform into a wolf at will after being bitten, and can use his animal senses to catch scents, useful in his investigations.
Werewolves of Miller's Hollow
This social game is also known as "Mafia," and a few variations exist. Players draw cards at the game's beginning to determine their role --- werewolf or townsfolk --- with the game set in a village where werewolves stalk the night. The game has two repeating phrases, night and day; during night, werewolf players choose to kill a townsperson, while in the day, the townsfolk must work out who the werewolves are, utilizing clues given by some of the characters. Play continues until one side has been defeated.
Rage Trading Card Game
This complex card game is for two players, with each participant needing to assemble a deck of cards to play. Cards represent werewolf characters and combat actions, as well as territories and items, with each deck divided into combat-oriented cards and those representing aids such as events and allies. Players begin by laying down character cards, each with different abilities and statistics, and aim to use these cards --- and their decks --- to defeat their opponent.
Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms
This video game, available on the Game Boy Advance, is a side-scrolling adventure, in which the player controls a hero given the ability to transform into a range of forms to battle evil. These forms include a wolf, as well as a dragon, for example, with each possessing its own attacks and abilities. Players progress through a range of environments, battling enemies and collecting helpful items which increase the hero's speed or prowess.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse
Part of the "World of Darkness" series of table-top role-playing games, this title allows players to create werewolf characters and immerse themselves in battles against the apocalypse-heralding Wyrm. Players need only their imaginations, as well as dice and a pen and paper, to participate. Each character has its own skills and abilities, while one player runs the game as a Storyteller, a kind of referee.
The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon
This PC game is a sequel to a popular role-playing game. Players create a character and explore an expansive fantasy world, battling enemies with magic and swords, and taking part in quests. One facet of the game is that players can become infected with lycanthropy. Werewolf characters must beware though, since being spotted as such will ostracize them from in-game society.
