Fun Water Park Games

Water parks offer patrons opportunities to splash around in attractions such as kids' play zones, swimming pools and water rides. While patrons can race each other in pools and water slides at a water park, they are limited to games centered around the park itself. Water park games let players design virtual parks and attractions as well as engage in other virtual water park fun.
  1. Computer Games

    • Players design their own water park in Activision's "Wild Rides: WaterPark Factory," available for Windows systems. In addition to designing and constructing rides, players contribute to the park-layout design. Prior to opening the park, players call on a family of five characters to test rides and slides. Icons appear above the characters' heads to indicate their opinions of rides. Water rides enter the mix in Atari's "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked!" expansion pack, available for Windows systems. This title, which requires installation of the regular "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" game, features attractions such as aquariums, dolphin performances, laser-light water programs, swimming pools, waterfalls, and water rides and slides.

    Creative Games

    • Players choose contents of water park scenes in "Create a Water Park," found at Decorator Maker. Items include background settings, furniture, people, swimming pools, tubes, and water rides and slides. After selecting a category, players double-click items to make them appear in the scene; players arrange items as they wish. Players build a water slide in "Waterpark Adventure," accessible at AOL Kids. After choosing a park in this game, players click icons to build the slide, losing points for each pipe they select. Players use the camera to view the park from various angles. Once players finish the slide, a rider tries it out.

    Customer Satisfaction Games

    • Child customers demand speedy service in "The Water Park," accessible at Games2Win. Players drag and drop kids at the water attraction they desire. A red circle appearing next to an attraction indicates that it's at maximum capacity; in such a case, players drag customers to shops and stalls. When an exclamation point appears on an attraction, players click the "Repair" button to fix it. Rides become disabled if players ignore two or more exclamation marks that appear on a ride.

    Dress-Up Games

    • Against a water park background, players dress a girl for a day of splashing fun in "Water Park with Amy," found at RoxiGames.com. Features that players choose include Amy's hairstyle, bathing suit, dress, top, bottom, footwear and jewelry. Players help a girl prepare for her day of water activity in "Water Park Fun," accessible at GirlGames. In this game, players choose the girl's hairstyle, necklace, bathing suit, footwear and water accessories. Players may alternate between water park and poolside backgrounds.

    Polly Pocket Games

    • Players engage in competitive water park activities in Destination Software's "Polly Pocket: Super Splash Island," available for the Game Boy Advance platform. If players perform well enough, they earn bonus tickets to the "Giant Water Slide." Players collect power-ups and prizes to grant Polly special abilities. Polly and her turtle try to avoid obstacles on a water slide in "The Waterpark Polly Pocket Online Game," found at MyGameGirl!. After choosing Polly's hairstyle and bathing suit, players click to avoid collisions with obstacles. The game ends if players lose five lives. For additional Polly Pocket fun, Mattel's "Polly Pocket: Ice Cream Water Park Play Set" contains a candy swing, diving board, dunk tank, two pools and a water slide.
