Instructions
Draw a grid with eight 3-inch squares across and eight 3-inch squares down. A maze can be set up randomly or intentionally. A typical one will use 30 penny counts with most drawn from 1 to 20.
Place a stack of coins in the center of each square, including five extra tall stacks. Most squares will hold a number that is repeated three to five times on the board. With a random maze, the best solution is unknown. For an intentional game, you set the board up based on a pattern that you know will yield about half of the pennies if played right. Most people recover less than the $2 entry fee.
Jot down the number of coins you place on each square to help you find identical stacks quickly during the game. Keep the paper to yourself in case you play a similar pattern over and over.
