Bible Bingo Games
Print Bible cards with names from the Bible, such as Joseph, Hannah, Benjamin and Daniel, in the squares. Write the same names on small slips of paper and place them in a bowl. Give each player bingo card and bingo markers. Call out the names and the first player to get a bingo has to yell "Jesus love me." Award a prize to each game winner. For another idea, use books of the Bible instead of people in the bingo squares.
Fill in the Blank Games
Write several memory verses on a sheet of paper and leave out a couple of words from each verse. Divide the players into teams and give each team a sheet of paper. The first team to fill in all the blanks with the correct words wins the game. For a variation, play the game individually instead of in team.
Name that Church Song
Record several church songs on a CD or MP3 players before the gathering. Give each player a sheet of paper and play 5 to 10 seconds of each song. Some song examples include "Shout to the Lord," "Jesus Loves Me" and "Going Home with Jesus." Have each player write down the name of each song. A player earns one point for each correct song. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins the game. For a variation, have the player guess the artist and award an extra point for each correct artist name. Make the game less difficult by allowing players to work in teams instead of individually.
Ten Commandment Games
Take a large poster board and write the Ten Commandments on the board in black marker. Hang the poster board on the wall and give everyone a chance to look over it. Take it down and cover up one of the commandments with a sheet of paper. Show the players the board and have them guess which one is missing. The player who tells you the correct commandment missing earns a point. The first player to earn five points wins the game. For another variation, play this game in teams and the first team to earn 10 points wins the game.
