20 Questions
This game helps improve communication between yourself and another person without creating a competitive atmosphere. The two of you need to work together to reach a conclusion. Have your partner think of an object either in or out of the room. You have 20 questions you can ask your partner, which he has to answer honestly. Ask him your questions until you guess the item your partner chose. You have to choose descriptive questions such as, "What color is it?" or "Is it a famous monument?" instead of asking for an immediate answer.
Telephone
A message, when passed from person to person, can change until it is hardly recognizable. The noncompetitive game of telephone allows you to see the often hilarious results of this occurrence. Sit at the head of a line with the other players and write a word or phrase on a piece of paper. Whisper the word or phrase into the ear of the person next in line. Have him pass the message on to the next person in line until it reaches the last person. All the players must whisper the word or phrase. Compare the final message to the one you wrote on the paper.
Trust Fall
The trust fall is a simple game that can be enjoyable for the players but it does require a little preparation and care. Without the proper preparations, someone could get hurt. Place a cushion on the ground near a raised platform. Have someone stand with her back facing the cushion. Have three people stand on either side of the cushion, six in total, with their hands out in front of them. Have each one extend his arms, cross his hands in front of himself and grasp the hands of the person he is facing. The person on the platform falls backward into the waiting grasp of the other players instead of falling onto the cushion.
Leapfrog
Noncompetitive games can also involve physical activity. Leapfrog encourages people to work together while they get a little exercise. Have your friends form a line in an outdoor area with five feet of space between each person. Have the players bend down and brace their hands on their knees. Take a running leap at one hunched player and vault over his back. Continue hopping over each player in the line until you hop over the last one. When you reach the end of the line, hunch over like all the others and the next person in the line will continue the hopping sequence.
