Deadly Creatures
The 2009 Wii game "Deadly Creatures" puts players in the role of a scorpion or tarantula. The creatures explore vast levels and must take on enemy encounters with snakes, beetles, humans and other scorpions. The Wii remote creates the action of the scorpion using its tail to inject venom and its claws to physically harm enemies. The game uses lifelike movements and show's life from a scorpion's prospective. This is a single player game with only a story mode and no mini-games.

The title of the 2010 Nintendo DS game says it all. "Battle of Giants: Mutant Insects" features overgrown insects such as scorpions and ants that developed new powers and strength. Players choose from four different insects and explore the land. Once they encounter an enemy, a large battle takes place until only one remains. Every victory earns the player a new upgrade for their insect. The scorpions in the game emphasize the power of the stinger and inject powerful venom into enemies.

Dozens of scorpions have grouped together on a sandy beach and players must use pesticide spray to avoid them in "Scorpion Killer."
