Sketch Game
Divide the women into teams of two or three. Give each team an Etch-A-Sketch, Magna Doodle or a large sheet of paper. When you say "Go," the women have five minutes to draw a fruit from the Fruit of the Spirit verse, Galatians 5:22: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: Against such there is no law." Award prizes for the best, funniest and silliest fruit drawing.
Verse Change
Write a Bible verse on several index cards. For every three verses you write, write one incompletely by leaving out some words. Divide the women into groups of three or four. Give each group four index cards (making sure one is incomplete). They have one minute to guess which verse is incomplete. Give the teams a point for a correct answer. Give each group four more cards and play again. The first team to earn five points wins the game.
Bible Trivia
Make up a trivia game by writing down several questions about verses and characters from the Bible on index cards. Copy the trivia for each woman and give one card to each woman facedown. When you say "Go," the women can flip over the Bible trivia cards and answer the questions. The woman who finishes first with all the correct answers wins the game. For another variation, divide the women into teams and allow them to play together.
Cup Runneth Over
Place a large bowl of uncooked rice or sugar on a table. One at a time, blindfold each woman. Place a pitcher in one of her hands and give her a small cup for her other hand. Stand her in front of the rice or sugar to show her where it is. She must scoop the rice or sugar into the pitcher using the cup. She must stop when she thinks the pitcher is full, but she cannot reach inside of the pitcher to see how full it is. The woman who fills the pitcher closest to the top without running over wins the game. Salt will also work for this game.
